Brunch Final Test

Opps, Nearly forgot... Our final brunch lab was to each research a recipe that covered all food groups.

Me: Strawberry Cream Filled French Toast
Wendy: Yogurt Smoothie
Alex: Fruit Salad
Joon: Eggs Benedict

We went overtime a lot, but everything turned out fine.
The food was kinda cold but I'm sure it'd be great if it was just fresh out.

Soups - Carrot Ginger Soup

After Sauces, Soups.
This pureed soup was amazingly delicious and easy to make.
It was the first soup I have ever made that used a blender. (Not a lot of experience)

We chose to do Gnocchi.
It was a really time consuming process, but I really liked the final product.

Brunch Field Trip

After our Fritata Lab, we went on a field trip.
Destination: Dennys.

Alex ordered: Steak Eggs Benedict + Cranberry Juice
Wendy ordered: Pancakes + Strawberry Flavoured Soda
I ordered: Grand Slam + Chocolate Milk

Fantastic Experience, would do it again if given the chance!

It was slightly overcooked, so the egg wasn't as tender, but it turned out fine.

Christmas Cookies - Part 3

Day 3: Christmas Macaroons
This recipe was brought to us by our Joon.
However, it didn't turn out correctly like it should =(
We kinda rushed it because he didn't tell our teacher the equipment we needed.
Anyways, the shell was alright.
I wouldn't attempt this recipe again.
 Macaroons are a high difficulty food to make, and I'm too lazy anyways =P

Christmas Cookies - 2

Day 2: Snowflake Cookies
I found a good chocolate chip recipe to work with, and created this Snowflake Cookie.
(Spent around 20 minutes cutting snowflakes was extremely fun but tiring)

After asking people how it taste, all of them really liked it. Would I make this again? Probably not.. The finalized dough was great to work with, but the whole kneading process took forever.
